Dr. Michael Saruna

Windsor native and Walkerville High School grad, Dr Saruna has worked diligently to provide top notch dental care in Essex County for the past 34 years. He has studied at The University of Guadalajara, UCLA and is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. This diverse background often brings a unique perspective in his approach to treatments and allows him to empower his patients with the ability to choose from multiple dental solutions. 

As a Graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Dr Saruna is a committed neuromuscular therapy practitioner. What is Neuromuscular Dentistry?  Simply stated NMD goes beyond the traditional mechanical philosophy of dentistry and takes into consideration additional factors to achieve the best possible relationship of the teeth, muscles, and joints.  It builds upon traditional dentistry to enhance virtually every major dental procedure.

Besides general family dentistry, Dr Saruna provides comprehensive full mouth reconstructions, advanced cosmetic solutions and neuromuscular treatments for head, neck and TMJ joint pain. He is also trained and experienced in the diagnosis and interceptive treatment of facial development in children.

For the past 20 years he has helped many people suffering from TMJ joint dysfunction, migraines, and head and neck pain, to return to a normal life. Dr Saruna‘s philosophy is a conservative non surgical and preventive approach for long term comfort and overall health and believes that the best solution is prevention whenever possible.

On a personal note Dr Mike Speaks 3 languages fluently and is a PADI certified master scuba diver.
